Don't be a victim, don't be a statistic. Have a good chance to neutralize a mugger, carjacker, rapist, nor do you have to faint when facing a vicious animal. Have the ability to act before he/she/it grabs you. Give them heck. This is the kind of "lipstick" that will French-kiss all of the above goodbye. Attack is the best defense.
Women please, please, please;
Don't fall into thinking; "it happens to others, not to me, it is a good neighborhood, I know everybody and besides there are people everywhere here, not to mention security guards, police and also Delta Forces and US Army". That's all a bunch of crap. Nut people are nut, criminals are stupid and they will attack without any logic because they are, well, nuts and or stupid.
Do yourself a favor; get used to carry one of these all the time, same as you carry any your feminine articles; but keep it real handy, do not bury it in one of your huge ladies purses, ok?
And most important; listen to your guts. Take this canister out at the slightest gut feeling, remove the cap and start humming "Come to mama..."or something; be alert!
A few hints where and when to be ready:
- Any parking lot (yes, even you local Walgreen and McDonald)
- Any time you can smell alcohol coming from anywhere.
- When going out of your car.
- When going into your car.
- All and any elevator.
- All and any staircases and corridors.
- Empty streets.
- When you feel as if someone is following and/or observing you.
- When you hear someone running or walking quickly (no matter what direction)
- When someone is coming in your direction, eyes constantly to the ground.
- And most important; listen to your guts. Take this canister out at the slightest gut feeling, remove the cap and start humming "Come to mama..."or something; be alert!
I'll be glad to hear your suggestions about the above.
I don't care if you think that all this a little bit ridiculous, just do it, form a habit. It takes only one time and one moment to ruin a life.
