A good quality knife, easy to open, takes an edge fairly easy. Not too impressed with the handle material, but overall I like this knife. Will here again.

Nice knife

I've never had a SA knife before but the action only takes one 'awkward' attempt to get used to how it should feel when opening. The blade is stamped 440c and for the price, I was doubtful as to the quality. Not anymore. Much like the Tao-8 I reviewed, I first used a Black Arkansas stone to check the ability to take an edge. It did so with little work. In fact, I'm afraid to sharpen it anymore as I know I could make it razor sharp. I've already shown it to a few people and it certainly gets that "holy-crap!" response. (toned down for public viewing). Shipping time was surprisingly short (thanks M.E.).

Have a few various design SA/Auto knives This SA XL Stiletto is the largest I've seen. I purchased it to check it out. I was very pleased with the knife's construction, fit, finish, blade, point, sharpness and deployment. Stainless, Torx screw etc. Would like to see an 11" version and more handle color material options. Overall I'll give it 5 stars and a plus on the purchase price and shipping.
