Automatic Knives

• PROMETHEUS automatic knives series have the resilience of that Greek god they were named after.  They are made for intense, frequent usage and not just for the show.  These are big automatic knives, without being too bulky or too heavy.
• The construction of this automatic knife is rock solid; every part locks firmly; there isn't any wobbling anywhere.
• The firing button is a prominent one making it easy to find, even with your eyes closed; the same goes for its safety lever.
• The firing system is based on a coiled internal spring.
• The opened blade is firmly locked in place by an internal pin.
• The blade is of the large-faux-clip (typical with Bowie knives) with a wide swept-up tip, allowing easy penetration as well as fair slicing abilities.
• There is no indication as to what kind of blade-steel is used with this automatic knife, yet we are almost sure that it's a high grade of the 440C steel-type.
• NOTE: these automatic knives series come with a very sturdy clip that occupies the whole non-firing side.  The sides of the handle are not of the same design. See picture below.

The Bottom Line:  It's a serious-harsh conditions (whether tactical or practical) automatic knife.
