Get superior field presence and rescue abilities with this top of the line SOG Trident series unique, patented spring assisted knives. That’s one of the best permanent companion knives there is.

The SOG Trident Spring Assisted Opening Knives series is a smart one, very smart: the knife's blade itself serves as a belt/cord cutter when folded and locked, thus, solving the problem of belt cutters becoming dull after several strenuous action and there is no way to sharpen them again with most rescue knives.
The SOG Trident TF series Spring Assited Knives feature a well-proven means of deploying a knife blade to the open position with the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology™) using the patent pending Arc-Actuator™. The Trident locks stronger and releases easier.
There is also a built-in safety to lock the blade closed. When it shows red, you are ready to go.
What also makes the Trident so unique is the patent pending Groove™ in the handle, which allows the operator to cut para-cord, fishing line, etc. without having to open the blade.
The handle also includes a Digi-Grip™ variable pattern for coarser grip in areas that require it. The bayonet style clip is easily switched for right/left hand carry or removed for pouch storage.

Personal note: I'm a real admirer of SOG and do not know a lot of other companies that invest as much thinking and innovation in each and every product as SOG does. One can feel that they just love what they are doing. Henrik.
