What exactly is a modern combat knife? It’s a knife issued to soldiers to use in field for any purpose as opposed to a Bayonet that is rifle mounted and destined to kill. The days of fighting knives were more of less over with the end of trench combats in WWII. Today a regular army soldier carries a knife mostly to cut ropes, branches, to dig and prey.
What makes the best combat knife? 1. Tough steel that will keep a sharp edge and will not require frequent sharpening. 2. Tough, thick blade that will not brake under duress 3. Large, comfortable non-slip handle. 4. Adequate size: big enough for field functions without getting cumbersome to carry.
What do we offer? We carry 2 types of tactical knives: fixed blade combat knives, and tactical folding knives. Some of our fixed blade classic fighting knives come with a hollow receptacle where some emergency items such as matches, needle, pills and so forth can be stored for survival purposes, hence their designation as combat survival knives. We carry the toughest tactical knives made of single slab steel, a few of big survival combat knives and several smaller combat boot knives. Most of our tactical combat knives are designed to withstand abuse, harsh conditions and strenuous usage. They are tough practical field knives. Our tactical folding knives are basically large folding knives with blades shaped more for extra penetration power.
