This knife is very heavy for its size and it definitely has a "substantial" blade like it says in the description. I find this knife hard to get used to because even though it is an OTF knife you still have to keep your fingers away from one side of the hilt before opening it because if you don't the blade retractor nub will stop when it hits your fingers and wont open all the way. Two minor problems I ran into are that the safety lock is pretty loose and will slide down from gravity, so before you open it you have to first make sure the safety is all the way off. Another small problem is that the blade is so thick that you need a sharpening stone to sharpen it. It will not fit in a V shaped sharpener. Personally I would rather sharpen it with a stone and keep the thick blade. I would recommend this to anyone (if it is legal in your area).
