The New Palermo series

Stiletto Switchblades
Automatic Knives

Part of atypical stiletto switchblades the New Palermo shows a reduction of guard's prongs size. The result is a smoother, more stream lined form which in turn makes the knife more adequate to be pocket carried, and what’s more it lessens the possibility of getting snugged when trying to take it out of the aforementioned pocket. That’s what differs the New Palermo from its cousin New Milano; all other main characteristics are preserved including the firing button and safety lever placement.
  • It is a stiletto switchblade of good quality.
  • The firing button is locked toward the top of the handle, where is should be and not stuck in the middle.
  • The safety lock is a lever locked on top of the handle and the usual stupid slider that gets to hard or to loose.
  • The knife folds by pushing the firing button instead of the crummy idea of dealing with guard prong.
  • A removable belt clip is added, which makes sense for that size of knife.
  • The inserts are flush with bolster, smooth and rounded, just perfect.
  • The whole deal is assembled with screws and not with rivets that made repairs impossible.
  • The knife is well finished and elegant.
The bottom line: All the presence of a stiletto switchblade with the feeling of comfortable and familiar pocket tactical knife. A very nice knife.
